These terms apply when you use the PunjabiFlow app for Android and iOS ("the app") or this website. By using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What PunjabiFlow is

PunjabiFlow helps you learn to read Gurmukhi, enjoy Punjabi poetry, and understand the words in Punjabi songs and films. It's free to use, needs no account, and works offline.

2. Using the app

You may use the app for your own learning, at home, in a classroom, or anywhere else. Please don't:

3. Content

The app includes lines of classic Punjabi poetry (such as Bulle Shah and Waris Shah) and traditional sayings, which are in the public domain. The selection, translations, explanations, design, illustrations and code are ours, and you may not reuse them without permission.

We work hard to make translations and explanations accurate, but they are a learning aid, not a scholarly or religious authority. Poetry often has more than one reading. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.

5. No warranty

The app is provided "as is". We aim to keep it working well, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or available.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app.

7. Changes

We may update the app and these terms. When the terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
