Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
In short: PunjabiFlow has no accounts and no sign-up. Your learning progress stays on your phone. The app doesn't send any data about you or how you use it.
This policy covers the PunjabiFlow app for Android and iOS ("the app") and this website. PunjabiFlow helps you learn to read Gurmukhi, enjoy Punjabi poetry, and understand the words in Punjabi songs.
What we don't collect
- No account, phone number, name or email address. The app works without signing in.
- No location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera access.
- No advertising, ad identifiers or tracking across other apps and websites.
- No selling or sharing of your data with anyone for marketing.
What stays on your device
Your progress (for example, which Gurmukhi letters you've explored) and your settings are saved only on your phone. We never see them. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data, deletes them.
No analytics or crash reporting
The app has no analytics, crash reporting or other tracking built in. It works fully offline. If you choose to share crash reports with developers in your phone's settings, Apple or Google pass those to us under their own privacy policies.
Pronunciation audio
When you tap to hear a letter or word, the app uses your phone's built-in text-to-speech engine (from Google on Android or Apple on iOS). That engine is part of your phone and is covered by its maker's privacy policy.
Links you open
Some buttons open other places, such as an app store page or your email app. Once you leave PunjabiFlow, that service's own privacy policy applies.
This website
punjabiflow.com is a plain website. It has no cookies, analytics or trackers. Like any web server, ours may keep short-lived access logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to keep the site secure.
Children
PunjabiFlow is suitable for learners of all ages. Because the app collects no personal information, it doesn't knowingly collect any from children either.
Your rights
Since we don't hold personal information about you, there's normally nothing to access, correct or delete. If you think we hold something about you, or have any privacy question, write to us at click to reveal email and we'll reply as soon as we can.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts handling data differently, we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change ships.
